Terms of Service

American Trucks Australia is a vehicle import and conversion business based at 3 Christensen Road, Stapylton QLD 4207. We import new Ford, RAM, Chevrolet and GMC trucks from the United States, convert them to right-hand drive, and certify them for ADR compliance for sale in Australia.

We make every effort to keep stock, pricing, and specifications current. However:

• Vehicle availability changes daily and reservations are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from our sales team
• Prices shown are indicative and quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD), inclusive of GST unless explicitly stated otherwise
• Final landed price depends on freight rates, exchange rate at the time of ordering, optional extras, and ADR conversion specification
• Photographs, videos, and renderings are illustrative; minor variations from the production unit are normal

Submitting an enquiry through this website does not constitute a binding contract. A reservation becomes binding only when:

• Both parties have signed a written sales agreement, and
• A holding deposit has been received and acknowledged in writing by ATA

Holding deposits are refundable up to the point of US factory order placement, after which they may become non-refundable as set out in your individual sales agreement. Specific cancellation terms will be made clear in writing before any deposit is taken.

Lead times quoted on this website (typically 14 to 26 weeks from US factory order to Brisbane delivery) are estimates based on current shipping schedules and conversion workshop capacity. ATA will not be liable for delays caused by:

• US factory production schedules and changes
• International shipping delays, port congestion, or customs hold-ups
• Engineering or compliance certifier scheduling
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government action)

Prices in the parts store are in Australian Dollars and exclude domestic Australian shipping (calculated at checkout based on your postcode). Parts are warehoused both at our Brisbane workshop and with our overseas suppliers; some items ship direct from the United States and may take longer to arrive.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including the right to a refund, repair, or replacement for major failures, and compensation for foreseeable loss or damage.

Where we are permitted by law to limit our liability, our total liability to you in connection with any product or service is limited (at our option) to the resupply of the product or service, or the cost of the resupply.

New vehicles imported by ATA carry the warranty of the original US manufacturer where it can be honoured in Australia, plus our own 12-month workshop warranty on conversion workmanship. Specific warranty terms are provided in writing with your vehicle delivery documentation.

To the extent permitted by law, ATA will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or our services. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Queensland.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always available at /terms. Material changes will be notified to existing customers by email.
